Progress shots of a bar cabinet

This is the first use of tambour doors and milk paint in my studio and I'm really happy with the results. This unit was built with the intention of having to move it across a large condo once per year so it was made with casters. 

Solid cherry tambour doors open to oiled cherry drawers and adjustable shelves. Pullouts with inset tile for more work space and a quartz top make this thing a real work horse!

All set up

Here's a photo of my setup at the Stratford home show. Though not different from the one at Kitchener/Waterloo a few weeks before I somehow lost the photos from that weekend (must have been a data purge). 

 The intention was to set it up modled after a mid century inspired living room, with some dining furniture features as well.

A custom dresser

Last month I participated in two regional home shows, one in Stratford and one in Kitchener/Waterloo. Some of the pieces I built for the show are some of the best pieces of furniture Ive made yet. Below is a custom 6 drawer dresser in walnut. It utilizes a mix of solid wood and veneer to create a really lovely piece of furniture.
